Getting into the City
There are several easy options to reach your hotel or accommodation:
Taxi
Easily available outside all terminals. A ride to the city center usually takes 20–30 minutes and costs around €30–€40, depending on traffic and your destination.
Metro
The Metro Line 8 (L8) Pink Line, connects the airport (Terminal 4) with the city center via Nuevos Ministerios. The journey takes about 25–30 minutes, and the special airport fare is approximately €5.
Train
The Renfe Cercanías C1 train runs from Terminal 4 to key central stations like Chamartín, Nuevos Ministerios, Atocha, and Príncipe Pío. It’s one of the fastest and most affordable options, taking around 25 minutes and costing roughly €2.60–€3.00.
